Father Llane B. Briese, S.T.D. was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1986, but grew up in suburban Atlanta, Georgia (USA). After undergoing seminary formation at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, he was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Atlanta in 2010. He presently serves in parish ministry in the Atlanta Archdiocese.
He earned his doctorate in biblical theology (2016) with the Presentation of his thesis, Walking the Path of Service: An Exegetical-Theological Study of Gal 5,13-18 and 2Cor 4,1-6, which was presented to the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Gregorian University and published in 2016.
Fr. Briese is a passionate, dynamic and highly sought-after speaker. He is a member of faculty of the Atlanta Archdiocesan Diaconate Formation center and also teaches at Holy Spirit College in Atlanta.
